How does ELOS work?
Treatment with ELOS combines bipolar conducted electric current with optical (light) energy. By emitting the optical pulse and electric pulse at the same time, the treatment allows a more focused thermal effect than a single pulse of high energy light.

What effects does it have?
With less intense light energy there are less burning risks and the synergistic coupling of energies means that each pulse can be delivered for a longer period of time than standard IPL's- yeilding improved results with less blistering, scabbing, crusting redness or inflammation than standard IPL.

Is ELOS suitable for me?
Treatment is relatively safe for the skin. There are many advances in the new Elos technology that make it one of the safest skin rejuvination and hair removal systems available, for all skin types and hair colours. Some standard IPL's cannot be used on darker hair follicles.

How many treatments will I need?
Freckles, age spots, and sun spots often clear after one treatment. Other blemishes may take one to three treatments. Each session generally lasts 15-20 minutes. Because ELOS uses an optical and electric pulse simultaneously,each treatment is more focused and effective.
